A licensed physical therapist, works as theCoordinator of Assistive Technology for the Arlington Independent School District in Texas, providing AAC support for children since 1983. She has also served as the Director of Outpatient Rehab Services at Easter Seal Society of Fort Worth, Texas from August 1997 to July 1998. She has a B.S. in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University. She earned her RESNA ATP certification in 1997.
